Security Dog Section

Sadly the need for high profile, efficient and cost effective security is a fact of modern life. The presence of a security dog section team helps create an atmosphere of well being and assurance for customers, visitors and staff alike whilst deterring potential criminals. Add to this the training and the professionalism of the handler and dog teams combined with a fleet of mobile patrol vehicles ready to respond to any incident and you now have a "security package" to satisfy most business requirements.

The Dog Section provides a variety of services to various clients ranging from security patrol, explosives detection, arms and ammunition detection, drug detection and personnel detection.

The dog section is based in Liverpool and deploys out of our regional office in Knowsley.

Nationwide Site Security are inspected under the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) and in addition to this the handler and dog teams receive ongoing training that is tested by a qualified Home Office trainer, thus ensuring the health, safety and welfare of not only the company and their employees that are contracted to but the safety and welfare of both the handlers and dogs at all times.

Arms & Explosives Detection

Our dogs are very useful resources as a counter terrorism measure in the Port of Liverpool to implement the International Ship & Ports Facility Security Code (ISPS) which was introduced on the 1st July 2004 where they are employed searching ships stores, HGV's, cargo and baggage for the visiting cruise liners that frequent the port.

Our dogs and handlers are trained to detect live explosives and firearms - around buildings, vehicles or people. We train and re-train with live ammunition, in line with home office guidelines.

Drug Detection

Our drug detection teams are available to both corporate, commercial and educational sectors. Our programs are set and random searches (with proven Drug Detection Dogs) will be significant weapon in your armoury in the fight against drugs. A pro-active approach will also ensure your health & safety at work policy.

We adapt these searches in line with your needs. The searching can be covert, out of hours or highly visible. We look carefully at your security needs and undertake constant re-appraisal to focus on the security solution you require.
